The intensity of the Halo treatment can be customized to suit the unique needs of each patient, so the recovery time will vary based on the depth of penetration of the laser energy.
Some swelling and redness is common after Halo treatment, and this can take 1-3 days to resolve. The skin will begin to flake and peel after about 3 days, and new fresh cells will emerge. During healing sunscreen must be worn to protect the skin from the UV rays of the sun.
